Barbara Witmer Swartz Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara Witmer Swartz in Blue Ridge, Virginia, who passed away on September 20, 2020, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her son Edward Allen Swartz; and her siblings, Harriet Bonhorst, Warren Witmer, Allene Deese, Steven Witmer and Joyce Shelton.
She is survived by: her daughters, Susan Robertson (Joseph), Linda Swartz and Carla Lowder; her sister Shirley Flynn; her grandchildren, Meridith Smith (Eddie), Stephen Robertson, Jeffrey Lowder (Deborah), Lisa Schiffres (Jesse) and Jonathan Lowder; and her great grandchildren, Lily, Rhys, Addison, Anna, Jackson and Owen. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions to be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
