He was predeceased by: his parents, John Meade and Gladys Mae Swecker (Mullenax); and his siblings, Richard Swecker, Charlotte Louise Arbogast, Edith Virginia Swecker and Jo-Ann Swecker.
He is survived by: his spouse Toby Sweet; his son Christopher John Swecker (Tammy) of Blue Grass; his siblings, Harry W. Swecker of Staunton and Donna Blank of Harrisonburg; and his grandchildren, Caleb, Holden Swecker, Adam and Molly Mobley. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
