It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Arthur Mitchell Jr. of Blue Grass, Virginia, born in Dry Fork, Virginia, who passed away on December 17, 2021, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Frances Oakes and Arthur Lee Mitchell; his wife Joyce Ann Mitchell; and his siblings, Clinner P. Mitchell, Agnes Corbin and Celia Branch.
He is survived by: his daughter Betty M. Mitchell; his son-in-law Brian Richardson of Blue Grass; and his siblings-in-law, Frederick Keesee (Sandy), Gwen K. Johnson (Gordon) and June Mitchell. He is also survived by nieces and nephews, and many dear friends.
