It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ralph Godwin of Bloxom, Virginia, born in Hallwood, Virginia, who passed away on November 28, 2021, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Norman James Godwin, Sr. and Ella Watson Godwin; his former wife Judy L. Godwin; his son Ralph L. Godwin, Jr.; and his siblings, Mary G. Young, Sarah G. Koss, Norman James Godwin, Jr., Gene E. Godwin and William Godwin.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Shrieves Godwin; his son Rodney L. Godwin (Vanessa) of Parksley, VA; his granddaughter Sara L. Godwin; his sister-in-law Norma G. Godwin of Bloxom; his stepchildren, Lisa Stover (Kent), Mark Coulbourne (Selina) and Jamie Coulbourne; his stepgrandchildren, Jennifer Goga, Hannah, Samantha, Sawyer, Whitney, Addison Coulbourne and Brandy Pruitt; and his stepgreat-grandchildren, Rilynn and Levi. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
