She was predeceased by: her spouse Willie Zona Smullin; her parents, Garland Dewey Annis and Delia Taylor Annis; her daughter Patricia Pruitt (Carroll); and her grandson Joshua Smullin.
She is survived by: her children, Larry Smullin (Deborah) of Bloxom, Sandra Johnson (Thomas, Jr.) of Deep Creek, VA, Linda Holden (Timothy) of Bloxom, Willie "Junior" Smullin (Lea Ann) of Nelsonia, VA and Darlene Ayers (Chico) of Nelsonia, VA; and her grandchildren, Brian, Jason Pruitt, Louis Lilliston, Jr., Michael Johnson, Christina Townsend, Tony Douglas, Shane Holden, Tanya Justice, Chris, Travis and Justin Smullin. She is also survived by spouses and twenty great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
