He was predeceased by: his parents, James William Rasnake and Fannie Davis Rasnake; his wife Mildred Campbell Rasnake; and his siblings, Emma Gay Rasnake Miller, Gladys Faye Rasnake Baldwin, Hazel Marie Rasnake, Delores Rasnake and Ernest Junior Rasnake.

He is survived by: his children, Debra Rasnake LaFountain (Keith) of Port St, Sherry Rasnake Monk (Bobby) of Talbott, TN. and Kenneth Rasnake (Rebecca) of Bland, VA; his brother Dewey Rasnake of Virginia; his grandchildren, Matthew Monk, Adrienne Climo, Brandon LaFountain, Emma Rasnake, Abigail Rasnake, Madeline Rasnake and Annabell Rasnake; and his great grandchildren, Mia Antonio, Carter Climo and Jordan Climo.
