He was predeceased by: his parents, George Wythe and Ada Wright Sexton; and his brothers, Wythe Sexton and Curtis Sexton, Sr.. He is survived by: his wife Linda Sue Shewey Sexton; his children, Robert Sexton of Tokyo, Japan and Dr Olena; his son-in-law Jody Lambert; his granddaughters, Jillian and Ada of Bland; his cousins, Rachel and Roberta Sharitz of Crockett; his stepsisters, Sally Edwards of Bland and Ann Stiltner of Bland; his sister-in-law Jean Sexton of Wytheville; and his nephew Curtis Sexton, Jr. of Fredericksburg.
