He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Winfield Scott, Jr. and Kathleen Gayle Muncy Scott; his wife Glenda Leigh Justus Scott; his grandparents, Andrew N. Muncy, Sr., Merle V. Muncy, Carl W. Scott, Sr. and Pauline W. Scott; his father-in-law Clell Justus; and his cousin Richard Muncy.
He is survived by: his son Todd; his daughter-in-law Ami Scott; his brother Steve; his sister-in-law Debbie Scott of Bland; his aunts, Sandy Muncy-Marchal of Bluefield and Patricia Muncy of Bland; his stepfather-in-law Jantine; his siblings-in-law, Jana Winchester, Kelly Justus and Mark (Paula Justus); his caregiver Hayden Caudill; and also, Peyton, Aceyn, Haley Caudill, Hayden and Jerry. He is also survived by seven nieces, and one nephew as well as many cousins and friends.
While flowers are much appreciated, the family requests that monetary donations be sent to the American Cancer Society or Shriner's Children Hospitals.
