It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jerry Ellison in Bland, Virginia, born in Bluefield, Virginia, who passed away on April 24, 2021, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Waitman Ellison and Geneva Hurst Ellison; and his brother Don Ellison. He is survived by: his siblings, Judy Smith (Ron) of Rocky Gap, VA and Kermit "Tom" Ellison of Bluefield, WV; his children, Jerry Ellison, Jr. of Bluefield, VA and Donna Sue Tibbs of Bluefield, VA; the mother of his children Juanita Sue Brooks; and his granddaughters, Amanda Tibbs and Emily Tibbs.
