Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Helen Maxine Eaton of Bland, Virginia, born in Bluefield, Virginia, who passed away at the age of 93, on September 22, 2021. She was predeceased by: her parents, James Blane and Cora Ethel Kidd Burroughs; her husband Joe Hoge Eaton; her children, Jean Hoge Eaton, Robert Glenn Eaton and Linda Carol Earls; her great grandchild Kory Renee Eaton; and her siblings, Jack, Howard, Fred, Harry, Charles, Orrin, Douglas, Virginia, Wanda and Dorothy.
She is survived by: her son James Hoge; her son-in-law Phillip Earls; her grandchildren, Glenn, Lisa Eaton, Jake, Stevie Eaton, Brian, Suzanne Earls, Justin, Kristen Eaton, Amber Eaton, Audrey and Darrell Lovern; her great grandchildren, Zachary, Lindsay Eaton, Hudson Eaton, Ryker Eaton, Aidan Eaton, Joshua Earls, Sarah Earls, Sarah Eaton, Molly Eaton and Emma Lovern; her great great grandchild Jaxtyn Eaton; her sister-in-law Lucy Burroughs; and her sisters, Frances Parcell and Betty (Larry Lane). She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.
Due to the current Covid Pandemic, the family would like to express their appreciation of attendees following social distancing and safe practices during the services.
Flowers are appreciated, but the family suggests memorial donations be made in Maxine's honor to Central United Methodist Church.
