As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Dollie may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Fairfax and Goldie Geneva Beamer French; and her husband Wayne Thomas Monroe. She is survived by: her daughters, Dawn (Mike Davis), Dena Monroe and Debra (Warnie Day); her grandchildren, Brandon Davis, Pete Day and Jeneva Day; her brother Robert; her sister-in-law Mary Ann French; and her friend Eleanor Wyrick. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 22nd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Wesendonck Church (2815 Wesendonck Rd, Bland, VA 24315). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 22nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
