He is survived by: his mother Betty Sue Newberry Davis; his wife Robin Davis; his son John Wayne; his grandchildren, Koty, Bryton, Abigail, Neyland, Korbin, Savannah and Zayne; his stepmother-in-law Irene Atwood; his siblings, Calvin, Paula Davis, Lisa, Kevin McGuire and Robert Davis; his stepsiblings, Ronnie, Crystal Atwood, Gina Atwood and Brandon Atwood; his nieces and nephews, Granger Davis, Kaitlyn McGuire, Krystal, Josh Williams, Ravin Davis and Brooklyn Davis; and his great-nieces, Scarlett and Addilyn. He is also survived by his aunt, many cousins and special friends.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Vest & Sons Funeral Home Chapel (2508 Walkers Creek Valley Rd, Pearisburg, VA 24134). A celebration of life was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
