It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara Ellen Meadows Wimmer of Bland, Virginia, who passed away on October 4, 2024, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Trenton and Levenia Brunk Meadows; her brother Russell Meadows; and her siblings-in-law, Richard Lee Wimmer and Elizabeth Wimmer Bowman.
She is survived by: her husband Edgar Arnold Wimmer, Sr.; her son Edgar Arnold, Jr.; her daughter-in-law Debbie Munsey Wimmer; her daughter Sherri Dawn; her son-in-law Ritchie Havens; her grandchildren, Heather Dawn Rhodes, Derek Neal, Linsey Rhodes, Richard Dylan Havens, Henry Arnold Wimmer and Audrey Claire Wimmer; her great grandchild Ridge Brown; her siblings, Johnny (Susie Meadows), Charlotte Meadows, Linda Sarver, Patty, Greg Puckett, Brenda and Robbie Pike; and her siblings-in-law, Frank, Wanda Wimmer, Bobbie Clyde and Mary Wimmer. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
