She was predeceased by: her parents, Millard Ellis and Jessie White Myers; her husband Robert Burton; and her siblings, George Byron (Nancy Myers), Daniel (Debbie Myers), Raymond Myers, Richard Myers, Rev. William Myers, Nina Saunders, Loretta Welsh, Gaye Burton and James Robert Myers.
She is survived by: her daughters, Elaine (Jack Cox) and Rhonda; her grandchildren, Dr. Miranda Cox, Brian Pitts and Kelley Wilcox; her sister Julia; her siblings-in-law, Wayne Acors, Dessie Myers, Jane Myers and Brenda Myers; her niece Belinda Hockett; and her close friend Alma Jackson. She is also survived by her brothers, her sisters, and her mother.
Strictly following the Covid-19 restrictions and mandates, masks should be worn and social distancing following during all services. Because of the current occupancy restrictions, the funeral service will be private and will be officiated by Bro. Danny McGlothlin and Bro. Phillip Buttery.
