It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lynda Hart Mays of Blairs, Virginia, who passed away on August 15, 2021, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ruby Lane Hart and Earl Wayne Hart. She is survived by: her husband Carl Perkins Mays; her daughters, Lisa Mays Anderson (Jon) of Midlothian and Tracy Mays (James Martin, Jr) of Danville, Virginia; her siblings, Larry Hart of Chatham, Jerry "Pete" Hart (Sandy) of Richmond, Mike Hart (Linda) of Java, Virginia, JoAnn Redd of Java and Sharon "Susie" Myers (Carr) of Nathalie, Virginia; her grandson Jackson Hammer Meadows; and her stepgrandson Nicholas "Jack" Anderson. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial donations be made to Blairs Volunteer Fire and Rescue and to Shockoe Baptist Church (548 Spring Garden Rd, Chatham, Virginia, 24531).
