She is survived by: her children, Michael Overton (Carol) and Debra Bolling (David); her grandchildren, Matthew Overton, Rachel Bolling, Amanda Bolling and Justin Bolling; her stepgrandchildren, Matthew Brumfield and Laura Cook; and her sisters, Estelle Dawson and Stella Tosh.
