It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gloria Leona Arnold Shelton of Blairs, Virginia, who passed away on March 24, 2024, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father John Arnold; her son David Powell; her grandson Joshua Powell; and her sisters, Mildred McGrew and Shirley Plunket.
She is survived by: her mother Helen Pendergrass Arnold; her husband Philip Shelton; her children, Mark Powell (Cindy), Philip Shelton, Jr. and Anjanette Shelton; her grandchildren, Anthony Powell, David Powell, Jr., Logan Shelton, Miriam Powell, Nicole Bywater and Samuel Powell; and her siblings, Clara Henderson (Danny) and Jimmy Arnold (Judy). She is also survived by seven great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren.
