She was predeceased by: her parents, Dewey Sanders Sr. and Geneva; her husband Blaine Robert Trapp; her children, Jeffery Trapp and Jamie Trapp; and her siblings, Mayford Sanders, Dewey C. Sanders Jr., Kenneth Sanders, Arneda Russell and Bernice Wallen.
She is survived by: her children, Christine Simox of Duffield, VA, Benita Collins of Kingsport, TN, Jennifer (Gary Tipton), Sylvia (Wade Beasley), Paula (Albert McDavid), Beth Trapp of Kingsport, TN, Heather Trapp (Danny Delano) and David Trapp of Shelbyville, KY; her grandchildren, Travis Williams, Erica Williams, Madison Tipton, Susan Trapp, Stephanie Lawson, Shanda Sexton, Whitney Stephens, Alissa Beasley, Austin Beasley, Kayla McDavid, Peyton McDavid and Blair Napier; her siblings, Kaye (Dave Newkirk), Kermit (Barbara Sanders) and James Sanders; and her close friend Onzie Fisher. She is also survived by 17 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild.
Flowers will be accepted or memorial donations may be made in honor of Geneva Trapp for the mowing and upkeep pf the Johnson Family Cemetery in Blackwater, VA where she will be laid to rest.
