She was predeceased by: her parents, Franke Shirks and Mayme Shirks; the father of her children Lloyd Collingsworth (Josh); her husband Bill Flanary; her son-in-law James; her grandson-in-law Matt Finch; and her siblings, Richard Shirks, Paul Shirks, Bill Shirks, David Shirks, Gary Shirks, William Howard Stapleton, Junior Phillips, Margaret Green, Helen Middleton and Nancy Byrd.
She is survived by: her caregiver Lana Alexander of Kingsport, TN; her sons, Randall Collingsworth (Sharon) of Blackwater, VA and James "George" Collingsworth (Lynn) of Fall Branch, TN; her grandchildren, Chris Collingsworth, James Alexander (JJ), Crystal Finch, Daniel Collingsworth and Carrie Collingsworth; her great grandchildren, Brooklynn, Braylon, Jacob and Gracelynn; her siblings, Earl Shirks, Tommy Phillips and Tammy Shirks; and her daughter Betty.
