He is survived by: his friend Estelle Giles; his daughters, Vanessa Crowder of Blackstone, VA, Betty Haskins of Richmond, VA, Evelyn Giles of Blackstone, VA, Josephine Green (William) of Kernersville, NC, Sandra Giles and Rachel Giles of Rice, VA.; his siblings, Joseph Washington of Fayetteville, NC and Audrey Walker of Monmouth Junction, NJ.; his sister-in-law Ruth Washington; and his friends, O. D. "Dee" Duncanson, Gary Compton, Marie Perry, Velma Jennings, Wilbur Oulds and George "Dick" Robinson. He is also survived by great grandchildren.
