She is survived by: her children, Benny Hylemon, Linda Cecil, Kathy Hylemon, Patricia Angle (Elliott), Janet Kerr (Charlie), Douglas Hylemon (Marsha) and Michelle Hylemon; and her sisters, Maude Harris, Mary Brown and Dorothy Brush. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; 5 great-great-grandchildren.
