Richard Edward Powell Sr. Obituary

We are sad to announce that on August 14, 2022, Richard Edward Powell Sr. of Blackstone, Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his son Richard E. Powell, Jr.; his parents, James Powell and Evelyn Powell; and his brother James L. Powell III. He is survived by: his wife Kathryn Ann Hubbard Powell; his daughters, Ann Hubbard Powell (Char Blubaugh) of Alabama and Elizabeth Birdsong Powell (Mark Alan Christmas) of Falls Church, VA; and his sisters, Matilda P. Conley (Ed) of Blackstone and Delle P. Curry (Sam). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
