With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Nellie Shelor Carwile of Blackstone, Virginia, who passed away on March 3, 2023. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Field Shelor and Nova Shelor (Alfred David Carwile); and her sister Nancy Rodgers. She is survived by: her children, Kent Carwile (Amy) of Blackstone and Christie Duffy (Dale) of Blackstone; her sister Connie Robinson of Midlothian; her grandchildren, Victoria Kelley, Joshua Dutton, Brandon Carwile, Kelli Carter, Madeline Duffy and Morgan Duffy; and her great grandchild Hayden Carter. She is also survived by niece and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Blackstone Presbyterian Church.
