She is survived by: her daughters, Theresa Gilcrest of Blackstone, VA, Miriam Gilcrest of Blackstone, VA and Sharon Streat of Blackstone, VA; her sisters, Ida Hardy (Morris) of Darville and Patsy Knight of Blackstone, VA; her sister-in-law Martha Boswell of Blackstone, VA; her grandchildren, David Gilcrest of Arizona, Michael Gilcrest (Tiffany) of Chester, VA, Carl Gilcrest and Markcus Hines; her great grandchildren, Micah of Richmond, VA, Michael Jr. of Richmond, VA, Camaya of Richmond, VA, Gabriel of Richmond, VA and Tyler of Richmond, VA; her nephews, Edward Boswell and Jerome Knight (Tammy); her great-niece Tenesha Knight of Blackstone, VA; her friends, May Tucker, Ester Robinson, Rosa Davis, Revered Roger Coleman, Sr., Donita Wooten, Martha Bridgforth and Willa Harrison; and her brother Dr. David Banks Sr..
