She was predeceased by: her parents, Hugh Watson and Hurley Watson; her husband Willis "Bill" G. Powell; her son Timothy Killian; and her siblings, Hazel "Becky" Fogle and Harold Watson.
She is survived by: her children, Lanie White (Matthew) of Blackstone, Robert W. Powell of Fairfax, VA and Willis G. Powell, Jr. (Carol) of Houston, TX; and her brothers, Maxey Watson (Sarah) and Hugh Watson, Jr. (Carolyn). She is also survived by nine grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren.
