He was predeceased by: his wife Ellen M. Thompson; his former wife Patricia Thompson; his parents, Samuel Thompson and Shirley; and his siblings, Pollyann Race, Ricky Thompson and Randy Thompson.
He is survived by: his siblings, Sue Anderson (Dennis), Tim Thompson (Kathy), Teresa Coppola and Doug Taylor; his sister-in-law Estrella Thompson; and his stepchildren, John Ryan (April) and Sara Gilmore (Francis) of Blackstone, VA. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, January 31st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Monument Cemetery (812 Bridgeboro Rd, Edgewater Park, NJ 08010).
