With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of John L Hastings Jr. of Blackstone, Virginia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 13, 2024. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, John shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid John farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He is survived by: his children, Brittany, Lux (Teensie) and JC; and his grandchildren, Khloe (Victoria) and Stella (Penelope).
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Blackstone Chapel of Joseph McMillian Funeral Homes (1826 Cox Rd, Blackstone, VA 23824).
