He was predeceased by: his parents, Mariah Fields, and Robert Fields, Sr.; his daughter Kimberly Fields (Pinkey); and his siblings, Lois Ann Thrower, William and Richard Fields.
He is survived by: his girlfriend Darlene Stith; his children, Marsha (Prissy), Marie, George (Bubba Joe) of Crewe, VA and Eric (Scooter) of Crewe, VA; his siblings, Robert Fields Jr. of Chesterfield, VA, James Fields (Wanda) of Richmond, VA, Thomas Fields of Richmond, VA, John Nelson Fields (Carol) of Richmond, VA, Douglas Fields (Sandy) of Richmond, VA, Doris Fields of Richmond, VA, Mary Sue Fields of Richmond, VA, Barbara Fields-Johnson of Richmond, VA and Theresa Fields of Richmond, VA; and also Marie. He is also survived by thirty-three grandchildren and great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the W. E. Hawkes and Son Funeral Home (504 East St, Blackstone, VA 23824). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
