He was predeceased by: his wife Betty Sharpe Teague; his parents, James Teague and Katie Teague; and his siblings, James D. Teague, Mary Newcomb, Edna Churchwell and Louise Barker.

He is survived by: his children, Vickey Brown, Clyde Teague, Jr. (Peggy), Cathy McGrady, Donna Jibben (Bill) and Lee Ann Case (Ray Milliner). He is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 35 great grandchildren; and 4 great-great grandchildren.
