She was predeceased by: her spouse G. L. Abernathy. She is survived by: her daughter Tammie Hart; and her grandchildren, Heather Hart (Antonio), Jennifer Hart (Dajour Worsham) and Matthew Hart (Gabrielle). She is also survived by six great grandchildren.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Blackstone Church of God (126 6th St, Blackstone, VA 23824).
