He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Annabelle Parks and Everette Parks; his wife Joyce Pearson Parks; his sons, Wally and Ellis Parks; his grandsons, Quinn and Aiden Parks; his sisters, Margaret Ross of Roanoke and Molly Saunders of Pembroke; his grandson Dawson Parks; and his siblings, Everette, John and Diana. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
