He is survived by: his mother Fern Ellis; his stepfather Dan Joyce of Blacksburg, VA; his sister Heather Dani Joyce; his brother-in-law Mark Williams of Christiansburg, VA.; and his grandchildren, Newton and Clarice Davis. He is also survived by the many aunts, uncles and cousins.
