He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard H. Smith, Sr. and Nona Martin Smith; and his siblings, Richard H. Smith, Jr. and Patricia Smith Woodward. He is survived by: his wife Norma; his daughters, Donna Smith (Tom Lyttle) and Cathy Smith Wagnon (Darrin); his grandchildren, Laura Beth Alden (Ben) and TJ Wagnon (Marti Williams); his niece Nancy Walker (Jeff); and his nephew Fred Woodward. He is also survived by numerous other nieces and nephews.
We are very thankful for all the employees at English Meadows Blacksburg for their kindness and extraordinary care that enabled Tom to stay with Norma through the final stages of Alzheimer's. Also, for the Medi Hospice Team for their great care.
