He was predeceased by: his parents, Mauyer Richards and Ricie Vaden Altizer Richards; his daughter Karen Lee Masson; and his brother Mauyer Denton Richards. He is survived by: his wife Mette Richards; his stepchildren, Patricia Shumard (Al), David F. Richards and Mary Joyce Smith (Roland); and his grandchildren, Alicia Moser (Wade), Michael Masson, Sandra Legge and Corey Masson (Leslie).
