It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sharon Margaret Okie (Blacksburg, Virginia), born in Montgomery, Alabama, who passed away on July 29, 2021, at the age of 65, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Charles Johnson and Barbara Johnson; her daughter Katherine of Blacksburg; and her sister Patti Reynolds (Greg) of Longview, Texas.. She was also cherished by many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, to honor her love of children and her eagerness to see God restore broken families, memorial contributions can be made in her name to the Family Playground Fund of Eagle's Nest Regeneration Ministry (https://www.enrm.org).
