He is survived by: his wife Jane Winchester Carr; his daughter Beth Carr Oliver; his son-in-law Bill; his son Ronald Scott Carr; his daughter-in-law Anne Wells Carr; his grandchildren, Scott Oliver (Laurie), Michael Oliver (Katie), Nick Carr (Sarah), Natalie Carr and Jay Carr; and his great grandchildren, Sam and Drew Oliver.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Blacksburg Christian Church (240 Watson Ave, Blacksburg, VA 24060). A memorial service was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
