With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Sandra Lea Parson of Blacksburg, Virginia, born in Greensboro, Maryland, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 18, 2024 at the age of 78. She was predeceased by : her parents, Walter Woodrow (Woody) and Stella Mae Brubaker Cannon; her husband Robert Roscoe Parson, Jr. (Bob); and her brother Robert Woodrow Cannon. She is survived by : her daughter Michele Parson (Misty); her son-in-law Bob Snyder; her son Shane; her daughter-in-law Rachel Parson; her son Clint Parson; and her grandsons, Kodi Parson, Dylan Parson (Amanda Parson), Jesse Parson and Gavin Snyder.

Visitation was held on Friday, June 21st 2024 at 10:00 AM at the McCoy Funeral Home Chapel (150 Country Club Dr SW, Blacksburg, VA 24060). A funeral service was held on Friday, June 21st 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
