He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Moon and Callie Moon; and his half-brother Nelson Baker. He is survived by: his wife Shirley Moon of Parrott; his stepdaughter Beth Taylor; his sister Marie Moon Painter (Joseph); and his pet Sissy.
