Phillip Michael Keister Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Phillip Michael Keister of Blacksburg, Virginia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 9, 2024 at the age of 85. He was predeceased by: his parents, James Jonas and Stella Mae Price Keister; and his siblings, Judith Leigh Teates (Bennett) and Freddy Keister (Shirley). He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Amos Keister; his daughters, Michelle Berg (Mike), Susannah Barney (Dan) and Heather Keister (Niels); his brother Jonathan; his sister-in-law Tracey Keister; and his grandchildren, Elizabeth Berg, Katherine Falloure (Will), William Pettus VI, Phillip "Luie" Pettus and Fraser Stevens. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 27th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the McCoy Funeral Home (150 Country Club Dr SW, Blacksburg, VA 24060). A memorial service will be held on Monday, October 28th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the St. Michael Lutheran Church (2308 Merrimac Rd, Blacksburg, VA 24060).
