She was predeceased by: her parents, William Henry Hodge and Birdie Sartan Hodge. She is survived by: her husband John Calvin Sweeney; her daughters, Sandra Clontz, Sherry Parsons (David) and Christiansburg; her granddaughters, Angela Alderman (Jay Mathis) and Amy Kokkinakos (Steven); and her great grandchildren, Mackenzie Mathis and John Kokkinakos. She is also survived by 13 children.
