He is survived by: his wife Mary Frances Shumate Stiff of Newport, Virginia.; his children, David Stiff (Shelbie) of Montgomery County and Vickie Stump (Ralph) of Newport; his granddaughters, Rebecca "Terri" Stiff Smith, Amber Pratt, Meghan Stump (Eric), Christina Hoefer (Robert), Michelle Stiff and Kelli Stiff; his stepgrandchildren, Katie Smith, Steven Smith, Jason Stump and Jamie Reynolds; his great grandchildren, Gabe Isaac, Aubri Stump, Addlynn Walters and Raelynn Walters; his brother Curtis Stiff (Joyce) of Roanoke; and his sister-in-law Doris Stiff.
