She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel Lewis Johnson and Maudie Pyles Johnson; her husband Roger Dale Simpkins; and her siblings, Audrey Martin and Nickie Johnson.
She is survived by: her son Roger Dale Simpkins II (Leslie Williams Simpkins); and her siblings, Jerry Johnson (Kay), William "Butch" Johnson, Earl Johnson (Judy), Allen Johnson, Earthel Sue Middleton, Mary Lee Jones and Ada French. She is also survived by her numerous nieces and nephews.
