With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Nancy Phillips Leach of Blacksburg, Virginia, born in Washington, District of Columbia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 30, 2024 at the age of 93. She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Jefferson Phillips and Ruth Hamby Phillips; her son Christopher "Chris" Underwood Leach of California; her grandchildren, Ashley Dowdy and Joshua Michael Dowdy of Christiansburg, VA; her husband Woody; and her siblings-in-law, Neil Calvin Leach of Greensboro, NC and Martha O'Neal Leach.
She is survived by: her daughters, Sherill Leach Dowdy of Christiansburg, VA and Susan Phillips Borenstein of North Chesterfield, VA; her grandchildren, Zachary, Elyse and Leah Borenstein; her great grandchildren, Mason, Max and Maddox Price; and her brother-in-law Dan Blanchard Leach (Genevieve) of Greensboro, NC..
