She is survived by: her parents, Reginald Gates and Sharon Gates (Cookson); her stepmother Dorothy Gates; her daughter Brook McNabb (Dan); and her brother Jeff Gates (Melanie). She is also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
