He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Smith and Bertie Smith; and his daughter Ellen Marie Rupe. He is survived by: his children, Lesa Smith (Rodney), Kenneth Howard Smith and Emily Taylor; his grandchildren, Courtney Hawks, Deidra Webb, Sherri, Nikki, Jennifer, Angel, Robert, Patrick, Dylan, Colton, Trevor and Dixie; his sisters, Mavis and Thelma; and his sister-in-law Bonnie Potter. He is also survived by 7 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-granddaughter.
