She was predeceased by: her parents, Claude T. Dowdy and Viola Dowdy; and her daughter-in-law Kathy Young. She is survived by: her children, Jeanne (Larry Cook), Debra Young, Rosia Young, Bud Young, Steve (Ann Young), Ron (Grace Young) and Tim Young; and her great great grandchild Evelyn Raines. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren, twenty-seven great-grandchildren.
