It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Ray Johnston (Blacksburg, Virginia), who passed away on August 1, 2021, at the age of 63, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Jack Johnston; his stepfather Charles King; and his father-in-law Kevin Vest. He is survived by: his wife Evonna Johnston; his son Jack Johnston; his mother Eleanor King; his brother Ralph; his sister-in-law Kathy Johnston; his mother-in-law Regina Vest; and his aunt Kitty Collins. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Montgomery County Humane Society and/or Walton Pentecostal Holiness Church.
