He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur "Chick" Brotherton and Ruby Myers Brotherton; his brother Bernard; and his sister-in-law Jane Brotherton. He is survived by: his wife Linda Brotherton; his sons, Scott Brotherton (Jen) and Brian Brotherton (Jennifer); his grandchildren, Whitney Linkous (Nick), John Brotherton, Daniel Brotherton, Rachel Brotherton, Thomas Adamo, Brianna Linkous (Daymon), Kasey Adamo and Kale Adamo; and his nieces, Rosa Jennings (Stephen) and Robin Carner (Bobby Jr.).
