He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Harry Chapman and Ashley Armstrong Lucas; his wife Wanda Wingate Lucas; his children, David Lucas (Pam) of Blacksburg, Timmy Lucas (Katie Reuss) of Blacksburg and Amy Williams (Keith) of Blacksburg; his grandchildren, Joe Morris Lucas II, Matthew Lucas, Madelyn Williams and Tanner Williams; his siblings, Eugene Lucas of Galveston, TX, Norma Hill of Blacksburg, VA, Peggy Nickels (Henry) and Harriet Albert (Jerry); and his caregivers, Ashley French, Brenda Puckett, Aaron Wiley and Bridget Wade.
