He is survived by: his wife Anne Catherine Ford Robinson; his son Jerald Robinson, Jr. (Amanda Lyvette Robinson); and his grandchildren, Nigel Dalton Robinson of Roanoke, VA. and Roxanne Tara Robinson of Roanoke, VA..
